When contacting us for customer support, we may ask for extra information in order to aid with your support request, such as your name and any records related to the issue being resolved, including, but not limited to, device information, your address, phone number, and/or billing information.
When you register for mailing lists with us, we will ask for an email address. This information is passed to our mailing list partner. Your privacy is important to us and we will only use your email address in order to provide you with product info, news, required notices and marketing promotions.
Our products may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of computer or device you use, your mobile device's unique device ID, the IP address of your computer or device, your operating system, the type of Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use our products. Information gathered in this way is used for analytics tracking of how you use our products and the health of our products.
Products that use advertising features may also use this information as well as GPS technology (or similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city you are located within and display relevant advertisements.
If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above in our mobile products, you should turn off the location services for the mobile product located in your mobile phone settings.
If you are using our product on a mobile device, we receive information about you from the app stores and other mobile platform providers. This information can include usernames, device IDs, purchase acknowledgements, push notification tokens and your location.
We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
- if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
Also note that third party technologies are integrated into our products that may collect information during the normal usage of our products. An example would be an ad network displaying an ad based upon your location.
You can stop all collection of information by the our products by simply uninstalling the products. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out via email, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will retain User Provided Information for as long as you use our products and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected Information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Information that you have provided via our products, please contact us at email@example.com we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the Automatically Collected Information may be required in order for the products to function properly, especially in regards to game progress.
Many of our products are intended for general audiences and we do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. When users identifies themselves as being children (i.e., under the age of 13 or under the minimum age in their territory) to us, consistent with applicable law we will: (a) prevent the input of personally identifiable information, (b) collect certain information for limited purposes only and/or (c) obtain consent from parents for the collection, use, and sharing of their children's personally identifiable information.
If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our products. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
